This quart-sized bottle of Shaved Ice Citric Acid Solution, when mixed with sodium benzoate, can preserve up to 128 gallons of simple syrup for at least six months, effectively cutting waste and overhead costs, especially for your less popular homemade shaved ice flavors. This 32-ounce quart of citric acid is recommended for use only with shaved ice recipes and should not be used for jams, jellies, canning, margaritas, etc.
